The Family Tree rangoli is a very personal creation which represented the important people and family of a woman celebrating her 75th birthday. The leaves, branches and the bark of the tree represented a part of her kith and kin. It was such a good experience to be involved in such a personal experience.
Ma Kolam - Tradition and Design
Ma Kolam is a traditional and beautiful form of rangoli that is done with a mix of rice flour and water and lasts for almost two days. It is a combination of patters, symmetry and intricate designs that altogether create a masterpiece.
