Largest Rangoli

Since I was young I have been passionate about rangoli. My 12-year-old daughter Rakshita also shares the same interest. On 28 Jul 2018, the mother and daughter duo worked together to create a National Day rangoli at Sri Thendayuthapani Temple, featuring a number of prominent national icons. The rangoli measured 14m by 20.6m.
Ice Cream Sticks

The portraits of Tamil scholars done by rangoli artists SudhaRavi and Rakshita using 26,000 ice-cream sticks at Tekka Place on 21st Jan 2023. This display measured 5.8m by 4.7m. SudhaRavi Rangoli is very happy to mentor & create this huge Ice cream sticks rangoli for Kalamanjari.
Chopsticks Tiger

Absolutely thrilled to bring this giant tiger rangoli to life with colours and joy. SudhaRavi Rangoli was very happy to mentor RangoliChop for Nee Soon South IAEC to portray Singapore as a multiracial nation. The artform is Indian but the chopsticks and this being the year of the tiger reflect the Chinese community. The tiger is also a symbol of Malay authority and power. The 3m-by-3m rangoli made with 7,000 pieces of chopsticks was completed on 14 May 2022 at MPC@Khatib. Delighted to create this grand masterpiece.
Nee Soon CC Sponge Painting

So happy to have mentored this awesome record by SudhaRavi Rangoli. 110 residents in the Nee Soon neighbourhood gathered at MPC@Khatib to do simultaneous rangoli painting using sponge and acrylic paints. The event was organised by Nee Soon South IAEC on 14 May 2022. Guided with purpose, thrilled to mentor this collective achievement.
Pongal Chalk Art

Truly honoured to mentor and guide Chalk art for Bukit Panjang SMC. As it is Singapore’s Bicentennial year, the event on 20 Jan 2019 started with 200 people colouring pictures of 200 pongal pots and sugar canes with chalk on the floor, resembling the Indian tradition of doing rangolis. Me and daughter are proud to have mentored this incredible Singapore book of record.
